Practice Format

Our practice consists of a group warm up to loosen up the joints and expand range of motion.  We then move onto Xinyi Dao stances, fundamental exercises and footwork.  The remainder of the practice will vary between two-man and single forms, push hands, striking practice (pad or mitt work), applications and sparring drills.  People new to the group will be shown the fundamentals and then progress on an individual basis depending on experience and/or comfort level.  Our goal is to help everyone improve their ability and learn this great art!
